Adding/Changing Item Info Lot Attributes Standards

Users may enter values that are "standard" for an item – this standard will automatically roll into the Item Info screen when new lots are added. This eliminates repetitively typing information each time a lot is opened for this item. Standards on specific lots can always be overridden.

1. When you first enter Lot Info a Select An Item Info Type Standards window will appear with the following options:

• EXIT – Select EXIT to exit the Lot Info option and return to the Inventory menu.
• A list of the item info types that have been defined in the system

Scroll to the item info type that you wish to view or change and press Enter to select or enter the standard item info lot attributes for.

2. An Item Groups for ("name of item info type") Item Info F10 window will appear listing all of the item groups that have been assigned to the item type selected.

3. Scroll to the item group and press Enter to select, or press F9 to tag all groups. An asterisk (*) will appear confirming your selection. Press F10 when finished.

4. A Select An Option For ("name of the item info type" ) will appear.: Select Item Info Standards. 

5. A Select An Item - ("name of the item info type") Item Info Standards window will appear. A list of the items that have been assigned to that item info type and for the item group selected will appear. If the item info has standard (default) values assigned to it, they will appear in the columns to the right of the item name and description. Scroll to the item to add standard item info lot attributes to or to change the existing standard and press Enter.

6. The item ID and name for the selected item will appear in the Item field. The item info type fields for the item will appear with the current item info lot attributes standard, if previously defined. Select the item to enter new standard item info lot attributes or to change and existing standard.

Enter the item info lot attributes for item if they have not been previously defined for the item or make the necessary changes and press the Tab, Page Down, or Enter key to move through fields.

7. Command options will appear: Change, Update, and Exit:

• Select Change to make changes to the item info lot attributes.
• Select Update to save your changes.
• Select Exit to exit the item info standards without saving changes.

Important: Your changes will not be saved unless you select Update.
